Happening at noon on 5 December 2019, celebrate the start of a wonderfully silly season filled with delicious food, excellent company, and lively entertainment.
You’ll find the event taking place in the auditorium at Mount Isa Civic Centre. Featuring yummy Christmas meals followed by decadent dessert, some tea and coffee, and a wonderful Christmas carols performance by the Combined School Choir, there’s plenty of fun to be had.
Oh, and before we forget, there’s going to be entertainment on the big screen too just in case your eyes aren’t as good as they used to be!

Kids Christmas Disco at the Buffs Club
If you have a young one who’s looking to have some Christmas fun this festive season, why not book them in for a night at the Buffs Club for the Kids Christmas Disco?
Happening on 13 December 2019 from 6PM to 7.30PM, there will be plenty of fun music played by DJ Snowflake, a ton of games and excitement, followed by prizes to be won.
It’s a great place to socialise, make some friends, and have fun in the Christmas spirit.
Cost of entry is cheap at only $3 for Buff Buddies and non members are only at $5.
The Naughty or Nice Christmas Party
More appropriate for adults looking to party, Prøject 4825 is hosting their annual over 18 Naughty or Nice Christmas Party at the Mount Isa Irish Club.
Happening on 14 December 2019 from 9PM to 2AM, prepare yourself for a good time pumped with lively music to get your heart racing and groove on. Dress to impress with clothing in as much or little as you please. After all, it comes down to how naughty or nice you’ve been this year (pun and a wink intended). Prizes will be given out to the best dressed male and female.
With Prøject 4825 DJs signed in for rotations all night, the crowd will be kept entertained with live stage performers and dancers. The music is open format so prepare yourself for house, bass, hip hop, trap, dubstep, DNB and psy beats.
Tickets are cheap from only $5 for the early birds and $10 at the door until sold out.
New Years Eve Movie Night
Kick off New Years Eve with a movie night for the family. Featuring an awesome concept of bringing your own camp chairs (seating is also provided for those who can’t do so), amp your evening with two movies on the big screen – Ferdinand plays from 5PM and Aladdin from 7.30PM.
There will be plenty of food stalls, free popcorn for all, a licensed bar for the adults, and lucky door prizes for some fun.
For the kids with plenty of energy, you’ll be glad to know that there will be jumping castles laid out on the lawn! Fireworks will also be kicking off at 10PM for a spectacular end to 2019.

Paint Party at the Buffs
Happening on 28 January 2020 at 6PM to 8PM, the Buffs Club will be hosting a public paint party for everyone.
The concept is filled with fun as you drink and meet on the deck at Buffs and prepare yourself to paint an enchanted rose in acrylics on canvas.
You don’t have to be an art superstar to rock up to this event. With a professional leading the event, you will learn techniques and methods to making a beautiful end product.
